GLUSTITCH 1ML
GluStitch® is a cyanoacrylate tissue adhesive that is formulated to function as a wound closure tissue adhesive.
GluStitch® is indicated for the closure of uncomplicated skin lacerations where there is little or no tissue loss. GluStitch® should be used under the direction of a physician.
Product Packaging : Multi Use Kit - 1ml x 1vial (with 20 administration dishes, 20 pipettes)
USAGE PROCEDURE
- Hold the vial upright, remove the protective cap.
- Pierce the top with the T-pin provided.
- Once opened, drop the required amount of adhesive into one of the administration dishes provided. (Approximately between 2-3 drops per laceration).
- Then seal it with the T-sealing pin included in the box. ( 1ml kit only).
- Only 2 drops are required for lacerations not more than 4cm-6cm in length and not deeper than 0.5cm in depth. Additional coats are for reinforcement purposes.
- Then using one of the pipettes provided, draw up and apply the adhesive to the surface being treated.
Storage Procedure
- Ideally, GluStitch / PeriAcrylshould be stored in about 5° C (for long storage purposes).
- Refrigeration is important to keep the product viable. (especially for 1ml vial.)
- Glustitch / PeriAcryl will never freeze even when stored in very low temperatures.
